Brazil, the biggest country in South America

Brazil, the largest country in all South America, has become one of the best tourist destinations on the continent in the last few years. The country offers a great variety of beaches, rivers, forests, mountains… along with endless opportunities of culture and leisure in the main cities. It also has gained a great reputation for their gastronomy. Within the great offer of Brazil, there are certain places that cannot be missed:

Rio de Janeiro

The city that gathers the essence of Brazil must be an essential stop on any tourist’s trip. Rio offers both relaxing spots such as Ipanema and Copacabana, as well as other tourist spots where the views of the city are unique (e.g. Cristo Redentor, Pão de Açúcar).

Amazon

Considered the lung of the world, Amazon has a total area of 1.5 million km2. The city of Manaus, which can be accessed both by air and by river for adventurous people, can be a key spot from which to visit all the nature that the jungle offers: Rivers (e.g. Amazonas, rio negro…) and rough mountain peaks (e.g. Pico da Neblina, Pico 31 de Março)

Ilha Grande

This island without roads for cars (it can only be accessed by boat) maintains its natural magic, making it ideal for those seeking nature. Due to its large size, the island offers a wide variety of beaches (with one of the best beaches of Brazil, Lopes Mendes) and trekkings where you can find unusual plant and animal species.

Florianopolis

This island has all you need: party, relax, metropolitan area and nature (incredible beaches and routes through the jungle). A great place to rent a car and explore the island from end to end. Lagoinha do Leste and Praia de Naufragados are 2 key points that you cannot miss.

Iguazu Falls

Within the Iguazu National Park, on the border between Brazil and Argentina, you will find the Iguazu Falls, one of the most exotic places in Brazil. There are guided tours to the park every day.

Guillermo López Lázaro, operations director of Eurodistribution comments: “One of the most strategic decisions for Eurodistribution has been the opening of the Brazilian BSP, one of the largest markets in America. And it has a very important potential for us. Many of our customers asked us to access this market and with the opening of BSP we are responding to all of them.
